Accuracy

Wave forms of current at some edges in the circuit are compared between before and after the reduction by THYME. Digital signals are used in the evaluation. The solid line in the graphs are the input signal while the two sorts of broken line are calculated wave forms before and after the reduction. Figure 4 shows wave forms of the whole simulation time span. Figure 5 is the magnification. You can see the error is very small. It is within the permissible level for designers.

In these figures ckiu indicates the internal global clock, cdw is a column-selection signal for writing and cdr is a column selection signal for reading.

Wave forms of an analog signal is shown in Figure 6 as before and after the reduction. Figure 5 is its magnification. The result is almost accurte until the third figure below the fraction point. The second upper most graph is of the valtages of bit-line (v(xection2.xbl.bll1)) before and after the reduction. The third graph is of the voltages of a inner node of sense-amp (v(xsection2.xbl.sasl)) before and after the reduction. The lowest graph is of the voltages of main sense line (v(msl)) before and after the reduction. Simulation was made by time steps of pico second and got the result with very small error.
